Reminds me of a conversation Dave Hopwood from Stone Brewing and I had regarding brand loyalty. BMC drinkers are fiercely loyal to their brand, whatever it may be. Craft beer drinkers on the other hand are loyal to the idea of craft beer, drinking local, etc.
It really changes your perspective on how the big boys market their beers, even their faux-crafts like American Ale and the upcoming Bud Light Golden Wheat.
