Is this a story about beer?
About running?
About enjoying beer?
About enjoying running?
This is not a Twitter poll (after all this is #nottwitter). I am just curious.

I know I am doing this wrong. That I should be retweeting, maybe adding my own thought. But I have no urged to get sucked back into Twitter personally, and in this case I am passing on “the link + quick comment” philosophy behind #nottwitter. I just want you to read this excellent thought from Stephen Beaumont (@BeaumontDrinks) that happened to be posted on Twitter:
“Of course White Claw is coming out with a vodka. Per @ShankenNews, 50% of White Claw Seltzer drinkers drink vodka weekly, and 77% of them mix vodka with hard seltzer. It’s the bland leading the bland, folks.”
“Under-the-radar” and “underrated” beer-related lists are overrated.
What qualifies as luxury beer?
Asked because in the second paragraph of this story you will find the term “luxury wine.”
And there is also this statement: “Robert Mondavi’s vision was to create wine from Napa Valley that could stand among the best in the world. Once he actualized that goal with his namesake winery, he had a new vision: for everyone in America to be able to afford a good bottle of wine.” During the past 40 years, a new wave of breweries have established beer brewed in the United States can stand among the best in the world.
And, to quote Steve Earle, who will be singing at the Boulder Theater next week, “You know the rest.”
Do you think less of a local beer, or for that matter a faraway brand you always thought was hard to get, when it shows up in the cooler at your grocery store?
Asked because of this story about upscale wines and grocery stores.
