#34 – Where in the beer world?

Where in the beer world?

Do you think you know where in the beer world this photo was taken?

Please leave your answer as a comment.

Trust me, this one is a gimme.

  1. For me, not obvious to the extent that there is only one correct answer, but I will guess that it is Russian River. I’ve never visited their facility, but a modern facility, signage in English, and the prominence of what appear to me to be wine barrels leads me to think Russian River.

Am I the only one brave enough to venture a guess? And, while I know this isn’t NPR, do I win a coffee mug or a tote bag if I’m correct?

  2. I’m guessing Jolly Pumpkin. It looks sort of like his brewery, although I’ve not seen it from this angle. It’s certainly small enough to be his brewery!

  3. Stan, I can’t wait to hear why this one is a “gimme.” And what the heck are those shiny discs?

  4. I figured it was a gimme because I wrote just about it for The Session.

I can type that now that Rob provided the answer. Steve, the shiny discs are the insides of the tops of the kettles. In our various trips to local breweries I kept forgetting to take along the camera (always with me travel by not a home). Saturday we were back at Chama and I had the camera. The brewery was idle.

Oh yeah, I see it now.

Sorry Stan, just couldn’t get into that last session.
