Host Eoghan Walsh has announced the topic for The Session #129 is Missing Local Beer Styles.
Which means?
Essentially: what beer style would you like to see being brewed in your local market that is not yet being brewed?
Don’t everybody type “NEIPA” all at once.

Is this not a problematic oxymoron? An anachronistic premise that a construct suggested in the 1970s applies further back? How does one first establish that the lost beer constituted a representative of a “style”?
Wouldn’t you agree that well before Michael Jackson wrote about “styles” that certain words signaled drinkers what to expect in a glass of beer?
Oh, now that I have read it, it’s not that at all. The hunt for a Manitoban oak aged fruited gose. The Japanese hefe. Splendid!
