Think you know where in the beer world this photo was taken?

A hint? This is a spot mentioned in the “Ten beery things to do in Germany without visiting Oktoberfest” written for All About Beer magazine. A second hint? Wheat beers.
Geeze — I let this one go, but not even one response?
Bottling your own at G. Schneider & Sohn, in Kelheim.
BTW Stan, I never took the time to berate you for giving up one of my happy little secrets, the Cannstatter Volkfest! My friends and I visited the fest for a whole day (maybe two) back in the late 90s. We thought it was great, just like Oktoberfest used to be. Why? No tourists. Until now. Nice goin’!
(Remember the grudge Augustiner held against MJ? Hope the same doesn’t befall you from Stuttgart! 😉 )
Grand Teton?
Ha! Pays to read the text below the image before replying, I guess. I’ve got mountains on my mind… But look at those nice big flip top bottles!
Rob, they are returnable flip tops – but half liters. Your basic standard German serving size. In this photo they are being sanitized.
I have 2 flip-tops just like those from the early days of the Sprecher Brewery — it’s all they sold their beer in besides kegs.
The photo was taken at the Weissbräu Freilassing hotel in Bavaria.
It’s a hotel handy to Salzburg, Austria, a short bus ride, they don’t even check your passport. And the brewery is wood fired. Last one in Germany, it is said.
Oh, and the beer is good.
