My take on Pabst’s efforts to make Schlitz the next . . . well, Pabst (in other words, popular with the young and hip)?

Why is she carrying the full glass and the bottle? ‘Cause she’s gonna bean him after she rousts him awake? 🙂
It’s like in a Belgian restaurant. You order a Rochefort 8 and it arrives poured, but with the bottle (perhaps with a little beer still in it) so you know you got what you ordered.
If you order Schlitz you want to make sure you get Schlitz.

A lovely ad! Good advertising like this deserves credit, regardless of the beer it’s promoting.
