#8 – Where in the beer world?

Where in the beer world?

This one seems pretty easy to me, so no hint.

For those uncertain about what’s going on, check out the Where in the beer world? archive.

For the first time, no reader knew where last week’s photo was taken. In Douglas, Alaska, of a building that could have been the first home of Alaskan Brewing.

Achouffe? Did I finally get one first, or is this a trick question?

  2. Chris Says:

    I’ll say Chouffe too.

  3. Alan Says:

    Gesundheit!

  4. beerinator Says:

Is it that place where the Belgian Smurfs live?

  5. Joe S. Says:

I don’t remember that from the Achouffe brewery. So I’ll go with the nice cafĂ© that’s just across the road from the brewery.

  6. Chipper Dave Says:

That picture seems to fit the marketing image of the Tommyknocker Brewery in Idaho Springs, CO. I’ve never been up there yet but it would seem to fit the bill.

  7. Mario (Brewed For Thought) Says:

I like beerinator’s thinking. Can you imagine Belgian Smurf monks? Oh to be little and blue.

  8. Stan Hieronymus Says:

Joe S. gets it right, but remember there is no winner. Everybody who comments goes into the lottery.

The picture is from the cafe, located in a cool old brick building across the road from the brewery.

Achouffe has its own cafe, which was fairly busy when we were last Sunday. And the parking lot was jammed, because lots of people were at the separate store, buying beer by the crate. Several of the cars had GB tags.
