#40 – Where in the beer world?

Where in the beer world?

Think you know where in the beer world this photo was taken?

Please leave your answer as a comment. This week a “what” answer is as valid as a “where.”

A hint: Yes, being able to read helps. Being a bit of a historian helps more.

  1. Jeff Petry Says:

Eugene, OR. Willamette Brewing Company, now called Oakshire Brewing Company. Great Expresso Stout!

  2. SteveH Says:

    Read? ;)

The “what” appears to be a tasting glass rack/server/holder.

  3. Stan Hieronymus Says:

    Well done, Jeff.

Since these blogs posts also end up on Facebook, that’s where Don Webb added the comment that he and his partner are installing the old 4-barrel brewhouse from Willamette at Naked City Brewery in Seattle.

  4. SteveH Says:

So, what is the “what?” Maybe a tap handle?

  5. Stan Hieronymus Says:

Yes, Steve, sorry about that. It is a taphandle. The carved tree looked really cool. Too pad they can’t use them any more.

  6. SteveH Says:

“Too bad they can’t use them any more.”

    eBay fodder.
