This is only the second month for the US rankings, and just like last month Beervana is No. 1. I know this because the folks at Wikio sent me a sneak preview, which I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;d rather look at than my commentary. Seems pretty interesting just days before the first <a href=\"http:\/\/beerbloggersconference.org\/\">Beer Bloggers Conference.<\/a> (Commentary will follow.)<\/p>\n<table cellpadding=\"0\" made by Wikio<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Jeff Alworth of Beervana <a href=\"http:\/\/beervana.blogspot.com\/2010\/10\/number-one-beer-blog-in-america.html\">offered a good look<\/a> at the methodology last month when he showed up in the top spot. Take the time to read it, and consider his caveat: &#8220;no one reads beer blogs.&#8221; Obviously he means &#8220;hardly anybody&#8221; because he, like I, appreciates that you are reading us.<\/p>\n<p>Pete Brown has been <a href=\"http:\/\/petebrown.blogspot.com\/2010\/11\/wikio-wine-and-beer-blog-rankings-for.html\">recapping the UK rankings<\/a> for more than a year. This has led to interesting conversations across the way, given that if there&#8217;s anything beer bloggers like writing about more than beer it&#8217;s beer blogging. <\/p>\n<p>I particularly appreciate that Martyn Cornell of Zythophile (No. 5 this month in the UK, <em>with a bullet<\/em>) asked <a href=\"http:\/\/zythophile.wordpress.com\/2010\/02\/05\/so-who-is-the-most-popular-beer-blogger-in-britain\/\">one set of good questions<\/a>, then <a href=\"http:\/\/zythophile.wordpress.com\/2010\/04\/07\/can-you-drink-beer-and-stare-at-your-navel-at-the-same-time\/\">still more.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>But to return to the US rankings and the upcoming Beer Bloggers Conference. I don&#8217;t know if these ratings will be discussed, but I do know there are seminars on things like SEO that you can see <a href=\"https:\/\/seoly.in\/\">here<\/a> (that&#8217;s &#8220;search engine optimization&#8221;).
