You don\u2019t have to. The resurrected <a href=\"https:\/\/allaboutbeer.com\/issue\/\">All About Beer archive<\/a>, which as I type this goes back to 2002 and continues to grow, will serve you better.)<\/p>\n<p>I love these sorts of stories, because they get things wrong and make us laugh. Except this one actually stands up surprisingly well.  <\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the tl;dr version:<\/p>\n<p>1. Macro micros are out; local beers are in<\/p>\n<p>2. Lagers, lagers everywhere<br \/>\n<em>Some came true faster than others<\/em><\/p>\n<p>3. Domestic imports<br \/>\n<em>\u201dForeign\u201d beers would be brewed in the US<\/em><\/p>\n<p>4. Here come the Corona clones<\/p>\n<p>5. New beer hot spots, and must-have beers<\/p>\n<p>6. Blurring the distinctions between micro-breweries and brewpubs, between contract breweries and brick-and-mortar breweries.<\/p>\n<p>7. Mergers and buyouts will continue<\/p>\n<p><strong>And now, Greg Kitsock wrote, \u201clet\u2019s go out on a limb . . .\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>8. Great availability of craft beer in cans<\/p>\n<p>9. Non-alcohol craft beers<\/p>\n<p>10.
