I know of a couple bottles of this Ballantine Burton Ale, I can recall seeing a brew date of 1934 and bottled in 1955... Anthony Iiori was the gent who's name is on the label... They were in pristine condition! Both full and quite clear when held up to the light... Wonder who would buy such a thing and for what cost? I had a chance to try some in 2003, and the beer was incredible -- pale and malty, still a hint of hop character, and incredibly rich and smooth. Obviously degraded a touch, but still.
