Hey man! I know of a couple bottles of this Ballantine Burton Ale, I can recall seeing a brew date of 1934 and bottled in 1955... Anthony Iiori was the gent who's name is on the label... They were in pristine condition! Both full and quite clear when held up to the light... Wonder who would buy such a thing and for what cost? Must be special enough to those searching for the historic brew and too those who want to consume it also! Good Luck thrill seekers!

More and more, I wish I had scooped a few of these up in the late 90s and early 00s, when they were selling for a LOT less. I had a chance to try some in 2003, and the beer was incredible -- pale and malty, still a hint of hop character, and incredibly rich and smooth. Obviously degraded a touch, but still.

I wouldn't pay $200 for the chance, but if somebody offered me a free sample I'd sure love to try it.
