We’re the best! No, we’re the best!
I think this and this are related. Bravado is seldom becoming.

Ron’s post makes a good point, but the whole thing was a thread hijack gone awry.

No need to vote for the Best Beer City. Regardless of Ashville’s ability to click buttons on webpages, we all know Santa Rosa is the best. WE’RE THE BEST!

Mario, that is EXACTLY the right response. Every town with good beer is the best, right? Fred Eckhardt, when asked what his favorite beer was, famously responded (paraphrasing here), “the one I’m drinking.” All beer is local, and if you’re sitting in a nice pub with a tasty beer, you’re good to go.
Cheers!

No Jeff, Santa Rosa is the BEST! Way better than those others. Fred must have been sitting in Santa Rosa drinking at Russian River or having a Moonlight, because Santa Rosa beer is THE BEST.
WE’RE THE BEST!

With Russian River in the house, you’re definitely in the conversation!
