When I was working on my book, I read every dissertation, thesis, and monograph I could find on the economics of brewing. I returned over and over to the Tremblays' work. Scholars like the Tremblays make it possible for scholars like me to add heft and substance to our work. Yup, it's economics, it's written for other specialists, it's dry. But it's fascinating!
