Session #129 announced: Missing local beer styles

The SessionHost Eoghan Walsh has announced the topic for The Session #129 is Missing Local Beer Styles.

Which means?

Essentially: what beer style would you like to see being brewed in your local market that is not yet being brewed?

Don’t everybody type “NEIPA” all at once.

  1. Is this not a problematic oxymoron? An anachronistic premise that a construct suggested in the 1970s applies further back? How does one first establish that the lost beer constituted a representative of a “style”?

    • Wouldn’t you agree that well before Michael Jackson wrote about “styles” that certain words signaled drinkers what to expect in a glass of beer?
