		<description>Just because he has a good palate doesn&#039;t mean he wont be completely useless at everything else.  A good palate is important, but it wont help you when you ferment sticks, your beer refuse to go through the filter or help you successfully manage people.</description>

When I worked for Craftsman Brewing Co., my boss, Mark Jilg, a man usually biased against formal brewing education, always said that the number one tool a brewer can possess is a good palate.</description>
