Hi Stan!

Writing this from an internet cafe in Mumbai… with a keg of ipa sleeping soundly in my hotel room next door! You’ll see from my blog we got a replacement with minutes to spare. The archives show that casks used to go bang all the time, and if this one hadn’t gone in tenerife, it certainly would have in some of the temperatures we reached around the equator. So the IPA I’ve brough has not been subject to the temperatures of old, but has certainly had iot’s share of violent movement. We’ll find out the results a week from now in Delhi anf then a few days later in Kolkata.

I love the idea of having people! But I guess the only way to do this properly ios to take a whole ship full. Ah, if only…

There was only one because he is carrying it part of the way, as in hoisting it onto his shoulder.

I do hope a cask catches up with him. Either way I am looking forward to the book.

Well, that certainly sucks. I was really hoping to hear about the results — I sort of wonder why there weren’t 2 (or 3) casks on the trip as insurance in such an event.
