Move over, Ken Wells - Here comes Lew
So just a few days after I waxed poetic about Ken Wells writing a beer column for Porfolio he’s not.
But here’s the good news, Lew Bryson is taking it over and will write it bi-weekly. Yes, the same Lew Bryson who hangs out with us bloggers once a month in The Session.
Wells, who showed quite nicely his affection for beer in writing Travels with Barley, is kind of busy being a senior editor at the new Condé Nast magazine. Fortunately somebody figured out they shouldn’t abandon beer - and they went out and hired somebody who knows what he’s writing about. Jay Brooks can be proud.
BusinessWeek has Robert Parker making wine recommendations each week. Don’t expect that sort of thing from Mr. Bryson - it will be better.
