Generally speaking, we're not suffering quite as bad as the rest of the country. Unemployment is high, but house values aren't falling as fast (in Bend it's very bad, but not Portland). So a good section of the population should be feeling relatively good, but they don't seem to be going out to eat as much. I fear it's only just beginning.
