"I have seen Anchor in cask in London quite often"

I need to bend the ear of the beer guys at my local good beer bar, I'd love to try either of those in Cc form.

from what I remember of the night (all a bit hazy) we had four beers on cask (landlord, Red Shield, er, can’t remember the other two), all of them British, everything else was in bottle; I have seen Anchor in cask in London quite often, courtesy of James Clay I think in Yorkshire, keep trying to persuade the landlord of my local to get Steam or Pale Ale in on keg.

Well, I've never seen an Anchor beer on cask over here (US Midwest), let alone the Steam, but plenty of locals. And we rarely get the UK beers on cask, so I imagine you can chalk that up to poor travel survival -- either direction across the sea.

Yep, a solid list there. In reference to the above, here in Leeds we can get both SNPA and Anchor Steam on cask on a regular basis, but not much else in terms of US Brews. Maybe tha'ts why they sit so high, despite being 'touchstone' brews. Taylor's, Brain's, Hopback and Fuller's Chiswick are pretty much staples, I reckon!!

Okay, I'll say it -- very nice lineup. Were they really all on cask? Anchor Steam & SN Pale Ale on cask, that I'd like to try! I can already attest to the goodness of the Summer Lightning from cask.
