		<description>Interesting that the Colognne youth claim pride in their hometown brew, yet most of the youth in England are drinking swill from other countires.

Having traveled to Munich for the Oktoberfest and Fruhlingsfest, and Bamberg to sample the Rauchbier (it&#039;s not liquid bacon, it has a wonderful, sublime flavor all its own) -- and discovered the wonderful beer culture all over Southern Germany, my next goal is to absorb the KÃ¶ln culture and then maybe DÃ¼seldorf.</description>

I read this article this morning, and it brought back a flood of memories from my recent stay in Cologne.  Having experienced many of the places and things that the author writes about it was a treat to to be reminded of the experiences.  I have Kolsch style beers here in the states, but nothing beats havinga  Kolsch in Cologne, its the people (Kobis or otherwise), its the atmosphere, and as you said, its the place.</description>
