Cains to brew raisin beer

We rightfully celebrate the American beer revolution, but shouldn’t think innovation ends at home.

Cains Brewery in Liverpool (England) has a list of its seasonal releases for the year. It includes an 8% abv bock in February (to be served in half pints; even the 6.6% Leffe Blond is served in half pints in England because drinkers are flabbergasted by its strength), as well as two more lagers in September and October.

There’s also a raisin beer in November and something called Triple Hop in May (a modest 4.5% ale).

Put those London flights on your Trip Advisor fare watch.
