@Bruce
That’s tough being a type 2 diabetic. My mom is diabetic as well. I bet you also have books for cakes and pastries. That might somehow help the sugar cravings.

I'm from Canada (& yes I spell flavour with the "u") but was born in New Zealand where we grew up with a real love affair with our beer.

To bad I am now a type 2 Diabetic & beer is pretty much nothing but a distant memory, however I can still read about it!!!

Thanks

"Curiously, this book has not yet been printed for sale in the U.S. market,"

Well... since the announcement of the book's publication a couple months ago, I approached my local library, here in the beautiful Midwest in Grayslake, IL, and the reference desk told me they'd do what they could to get Hops & Glory.

2 or 3 weeks later I was notified that the book was in and waiting for me to check it out!

I've since read and enjoyed it, wanting to get an e-mail of congratulations off to Pete, and happy to see you bring it up again Stan.

Well worth the read, for the adventure and Pete's prose, if not the research he did on IPA. And don't get discouraged, it can be procured in the US -- if the will is strong!

BTW -- I think you need a "spoiler" warning above the post, Stan. The way the story plays out, I'm not sure Pete wants you to know about the beer's results until the end... JMO.
