I, as well as countless others I’m sure, appreciate the sentiment and will miss Mr. Brand’s writings, but I’m afraid that is Johnny Cash you are quoting and not Robert Earl Keen.

Bill was a bit of a mentor to me. He encouraged me to go out there and aim high when it came to the whole beer blogging thing. Today I was coming back from a tour and interview at Callistoga Inn. With no one to send a text message to, I found my darkened corner in the passenger seat of my wife’s car.
I’ll miss you Bill.
