Y'know, for the past 2 decades, ever since I started home brewing and discovering and enjoying great beer, I been saying, "Good beer should be treated with the same respect as good wine." Seems thay some wine connoisseurs are finally starting to realize this. Here in Kansas City, MO, we're fortunate that the local wine writer, Doug Frost, who holds both the Master Sommelier and Master of Wine titles, is also a beer lover and will occasionally write about beer. (not often enough for my taste, but I'll take what I can get!) Best of all, he's knowledgeable about beer- perhaps not as much as he his about wine, but certainly up there with any qualified BJCP judge. So it is starting to change, and for better for us beer lovers!
