Anybody know the hoppy answer?

This is a Drewrys beer coaster from the 1950s. Does anybody know what happened if you said “Fuggle hop” to the bartender? Maybe I should turn this into a caption competition à la BrewDog.

I’m guessing the bartender would have poured you a Drewrys.

Didn’t mean to hit “submit”… If you’d like a more definitive, I’m near IN and have folks who might actually remember — I’ll try to find out for you.

Me again — these guys should know. I’m not on Facebook so can’t explore further, but perhaps you are?

Hey Bill – Thanks for the lead.
Others are still welcome to make up a caption . . .

The bartender gave you a Drewery’s and a Fuggle hop cone to put in the beer?

Here in Philadelphia, they probably told you to get the “fuggle” outa here
