Agreed on all counts. Very nice food, lots of local products. The beer can be a little erratic. The mix we had - maybe the golden and Fest, but just a guess - had a rather high level of diacetyl. It's off US 158 on the way to the Outer Banks from points north. Been there. Tried it. Can't really recommend it as the quality and fill levels are quite variable. For example, would you care for hefe in your Altbier? But otherwise I love the place. Good food and brew. I always visit when we do the family vacation on the Outer Banks.
