#31 – Where in the beer world?

Think you know where in the beer world this photo was taken?

Given recent comments, not just here but from Alan and others, I thought a picture of beer “on sale” might be interesting. You’ll have to decide if you consider $1.50 a deal for a half-liter of “mixed beer.”
That’s the hint – half liter bottles.

Whoa — pre-mixed blends. I’m very curious about this one. Since I have a vague picture of the route you’re on, I’m gonna guess you’re somewhere in Colorado — beyond that, I’m clueless.

That would be the Weeping Radish Brewery in Jarivsburg, NC. It’s off US 158 on the way to the Outer Banks from points north. Been there. Tried it. Can’t really recommend it as the quality and fill levels are quite variable. For example, would you care for hefe in your Altbier?
But otherwise I love the place. Good food and brew. I always visit when we do the family vacation on the Outer Banks.

Well done, DaveJ.
Agreed on all counts. Very nice food, lots of local products. The beer can be a little erratic. The mix we had – maybe the golden and Fest, but just a guess – had a rather high level of diacetyl. Don’t know if it was from one beer or the other, or both.

Man. I was going to guess Weeping Raddish before I read the replies.
