The numbers are things ordered (noted by price) and the tallies are the quantity. For instance, the 28, 25, and 26 marks are probably all for different kinds of beer. They had 3 beers of the 25kc beer. God I miss the Czech Republic. Without Pivni Filosof’s blog I wouldn’t have guessed this, but I remembered reading about the pub a few days back– I used to walk by there all the time when I was heading from Zizkov to Karlin.

If you did have it at U Slovanské Lípy, good for you in getting way off the tourist track and going to a "real" Czech pub.
