Food & drink were very cheap everywhere except in Dubrovnik where prices were closer to north america's prices. Dubrovnik is highly touristic, I guess this would explain the price difference. Having a beer while sitting by the Adriatic sea must truly be an incredible experience! I was in Croatia in 2006. Beer costs 30 kunas (5.69 to a dollar last week), about twice what we paid at a excellent pizza place in Split, but it seems like a fair "cover." Cheers to Francois.
